Our new Devlop’RA, the illustrated magazine from Louvain Coopération, is now available. It features a summary of our 2025 Activity Report, as well as a special feature on mangroves.

In 2025, more than 120,000 people benefited directly from the initiatives carried out by Louvain Coopération. We highlight some of these key initiatives in the Devlop’RA.

This year, our special feature focuses on mangroves, those coastal forests that are as rare as they are precious. They protect biodiversity, capture carbon, slow down coastal erosion and provide a livelihood for millions of fishermen around the world. Yet they are now threatened with extinction: 40% of the world’s mangroves have disappeared and deforestation continues.

In Madagascar and Benin, communities living near mangroves work alongside us every day to restore and protect them.
