Thanks to the tremendous generosity of UCLouvain staff, the 1+1 campaign run by the university and its NGO, Louvain Coopération, raised €48,872 in support of farmers in Benin.

This sum will enable us to:

  • Train 930 farmers in agroecological practices,
  • Reduce the use of chemical pesticides and improve the health of rural families,
  • Preserve soils and biodiversity,
  • Encourage the production of natural fertilisers and sustainable sales channels.

The solidarity of the entire UCLouvain community is bringing about concrete and lasting change.

Did you know that you can get involved with our university NGO by becoming an ambassador for its projects?
