Every year, CNCD-11.11.11, which brings together more than 90 international solidarity associations, launches a major campaign in Belgium to combat global inequalities.

Operation 11.11.11 is the main fundraiser promoting solidarity between the Global North and South. At the end of each year, this annual event once again mobilises Belgians to support essential projects.

Operation 11.11.11: a solidarity event

For more than 50 years, CNCD-11.11.11 has been organising this event around 11 November to fund international cooperation programmes. Once again this year, donations from Belgians will support more than 200 projects in some 40 countries, contributing to initiatives in health, education, sustainable agriculture and human rights, among others. Louvain Coopération, a member of CNCD-11.11.11, is actively involved in supporting its mental health programme in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a vital mission to improve access to care and combat the social exclusion of people with mental health issues.

Focus 2025: Mental health in South Kivu

This year, the funds raised by Louvain Coopération will support mental health projects in South Kivu (DRC). Our local partners provide support to women and children who are victims of violence in a context of war and persistent insecurity. Thanks to the sale of solidarity products, we can continue to fund vital psychological and community support.

A gesture of solidarity... and a tasty treat!

To support these actions, Louvain Coopération offers a range of solidarity products. This year, treat yourself to some fair trade chocolate bars, available at a price of €7 for dark or milk chocolate. For cooking enthusiasts, a vegetarian recipe book is available for £15. For children, discover world maps or colouring books, a fun way to learn, for £15. You will also find greeting cards for £1 each and calendars for £20. Every euro raised is doubled to fund our projects, which makes every little gesture even more meaningful.
