By combining cultural events (theatre, film, dance and more) with small-group workshops led by practitioners and representatives from civil society organisations, DJESA helps students from all academic backgrounds develop a deeper understanding of today's food systems and explore alternative models for the future.

Whether studying political science, bioengineering, veterinary science or another discipline, participants are invited to step beyond the traditional academic setting, engage in debate, broaden their perspectives and imagine new responses to issues such as access to land, globalisation and agricultural policies, while supporting the development of healthy, fair and sustainable food systems.
